Malta International Airport
Also known as Valletta Airport or Luqa Airport, it is located in the town of Luqa, 8 km (5 miles) southwest of Valletta (Valletta) and is the only air transport route in this small archipelago. It has ATMs, VIP lounges, plugs for electrical devices, mobile phone service and Wi-Fi access free of charge. The food court, located on the first level, has fast food outlets, a bar and a cafeteria. The boarding level also has cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as duty free items, convenience store in the Arrivals Hall, books, clothing, jewelry, accessories, souvenirs, candy and electronics. Several public transport services operate from the airport to different parts of the archipelago and taxi transfers are available 24 hours. Travel time to the center of Valletta is about 25 minutes.
