Norman Manley International Airport
Formerly known as Palisadoe Airport, it is located on the Palisadoes Peninsula, near Port Royal and 17 km (10 miles) southeast of Kingston. It serves the capital of Jamaica and the entire country. It operates with flights from Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Panama and the Caribbean. It has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus, VIP lounges, mobile phone service and Wi-Fi access in the boarding areas. There are restaurants, bars and fast food stores, some open 24 hours a day, as well as duty-free shops, tobacco shops and books, music, souvenirs, clothing and accessories, sweets. Line 98 of Jamaica Urban Transit Company, connects the airport with Kingston, Port Royal and Harbor View. It is also possible to travel by taxi with vehicles available outside the terminal. The trip to the city center is about 30 minutes.
