Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport – Le Raizet
Also known as Aéroport Guadeloupe Pôle Caraïbes, it is located in Abymes, 2.4 km (1.3 miles) north of Pointe-à-Pitre. It is the most important air terminal in Guadeloupe and the French Antilles and the largest of the three airports on the islands. It operates with flights to various points in the Caribbean, North America and Europe. It has two terminals: 1 (International Flights) and 2 (Regional flights), open 24 hours a day, as well as a currency exchange office, ATMs, VIP lounges, public telephones and Wi-Fi prepaid access and a room of meetings. There are cafes, bars and restaurants distributed between the two Terminals, as well as sectors of duty-free items. The transfer is made through the different bus lines available, as well as through the taxi service located outside the terminal, 24 hours a day.
