Santiago de Compostela airport
It is located in the town of Lavacolla, 10 km (7 miles) to the northeast of Santiago de Compostela and is an important airstation in Spain that serves much of the Galicia region. It operates with domestic flights and some international destinations in Europe and its only Terminal remains open 24 hours. It has ATMs, post offices and free Wi-Fi access. Its VIP Lounge is located in the boarding area and opens from 5:30 am to 11:00 pm in summer and from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm in winter; the maximum stay is 4 hours. It has a cafeteria on the ground floor, restaurants on the first floor, as well as a duty-free shop in the boarding sector on the first level and souvenir shops, regional food, clothing and accessories, and newspapers. Ground transportation can be done by public buses or the Radio Taxis vehicle service outside the terminal, which apply extra charges during the night (from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am) and weekends. The trip to the city center takes about 15 minutes.
