Ferenc Liszt International Airport
It is the largest in Hungary and is located 16 km (10 miles) southeast of the city. It operates with flights to the main cities in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, North America and China. It has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus, post office, VIP rooms, mobile phone service and free Wi-Fi access for 2 hours. It has meeting rooms in both terminals as well as a conference center, several bars, cafes, fast food outlets and local and international restaurants. Duty-free shops are located on the boarding level and you can also find local clothing, jewelry, gifts, regional products, books, tobacco, newspapers and magazines, music, toys, electronics, accessories, and cosmetics. Among other services, it also has travel agencies, a smoking area, a dental clinic, a spa, a prayer room, children’s entertainment areas, and facilities for baby hygiene. The connection between the airport and the urban area can be made through the public transport service such as buses, subways and trains. In front of the arrivals halls of the two terminals, there are taxi vehicles, whose journey to the city center takes 25 minutes.
