Tenerife North Airport
Also known as Los Rodeos Airport, it is located 11 km (7.5 miles) west of Santa Cruz, in the municipality of San Cristóbal de la Laguna. Next to Tenerife Sur Airport, it is the busiest in air traffic in the Canary Islands. It operates with national flights and some international destinations in Europe, Morocco and Venezuela. It has a bank, ATMs, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access, as well as a business center near the terminal. On both levels, there are cafeterias and a restaurant and on the first floor for local fast food. It has duty-free stores in the exclusive area for levels 0 and 1 passengers, a multi-store, and clothing and accessories stores, newspapers, magazines and gifts. Different bus services connect the airport with Santa Cruz and La Laguna, as well as the North and South airports. Others make trips to different locations on the Island. In front of the arrivals hall, there are taxi stands, whose fares are higher during the night and on Sundays. The journey to the center of Santa Cruz takes about 25 minutes.
